Cat'sEyE Compiling

To compile Cat'sEyE on your system you need the gtk+2 packages, at least in version 2.16 or higher. You may check this with the command: 'pkg-config --modversion gtk+-2.0' and 'pkg-config --modversion glib-2.0'.
This should give you the currently installed Version of GTK+2 and glib on your system.

For Linux users :
The following packages should give you all you need to compile and run Cat'sEyE:

libglib2.0-dev
libgtk2.0-dev

After you got the source package there are two main ways to compile Cat'sEyE:

You may want to use the user-install script to build the binary and install some icons and a sample configuration file to your homedirectory:

extract package
enter directory
./user-install.sh

When you just want to build the binary follow this steps:

extract package
enter directory
cd source
make

Now you may proceed to installing Cat'sEyE.
